Do you Travel?
I would love to talk to you about the opportunity to travel to you or with you! I am based out of Kodiak, AK, but frequent the Atlanta area, Denver area, and Anchorage. Reach out to me to see what we can make work!
How long have you been doing this?
I held my first DSLR (fancy word for a not-point-and-shoot camera) my freshman year of high school. I continued taking photography classes all through high school and haven't stopped since as a hobby. They always say if you love what you do you won't work a day in your life, right?
How many photos do we get?
This depends on what package you get and how many locations we go to. I will never promise 'x' amount of photos but you will be getting at least 15 digital photos to choose from. Believe me when I say I love to get lots of options myself so I hope to reciprocate that for you.
How do we get our photos?
You are able to digitally download your images once I have uploaded them to your own gallery. I will keep photos on a separate hard drive for 60 days after I upload your photos as a just-in-case backup. I would be more than happy to help you get your photos printed, too, if you want that.
Do you retouch photos?
Very slightly. I don't want to take away from the memory that is presented in the picture. However, I do like to tweak the lighting sometimes, remove clothing tags, and emphasize the natural setting. If you want me to do more editing or less, please just let me know.
Whats your turn around time?
I will work as fast as I can! I will try my best to get your retouched photos to you in your gallery no later than 14 days after your shoot day. Please keep in mind that life does happen, but I will be in contact with you if I foresee myself not being able to get your gallery completed in a short time. Of course, if you have a larger shoot with multiple locations, please allow some extra time since you will get more pictures than a shorter session.

Can you help us with planning?
Yes! Yes! Yes! I am always looking for new spots so I am open to trying new settings but I also have a few go-to's that always make a great backdrop. I would love to help you plan outfits based on the season's colors, pick a time of day, and help you decide what kind of package you want. I LOVE to plan so this is an exciting part of the biz for me!
How far out do you book?
I like to book about 2 months out. You can always reach out to me prior to that, but 2 months is when I like to pencil in a date on the calendar. As the time gets closer we will watch the weather and such to plan accordingly.
What should we do for an engagement session?
This is totally up to you! Go back to the place you met? Go to the place where you said 'I love you' first? In the privacy of your home? The options are endless! I would love to talk to you about what you are envisioning for the big moment.
What should we wear?
Something comfortable! Getting your picture taken is already uncomfortable enough for most people so I suggest wearing something you would normally wear. This really captures your personality and will let you relax a bit more in your pictures. We can talk about colors, suggestions, and what you are envisioning when we book your session.
What are your prices?
I have my 'base-line' prices listed on my website but that can change with each session. It can change based on how many locations we visit, how long of a session, and other factors. I want to make getting your pictures taken affordable but please keep in mind the time I dedicate to each session!
